| Steven Moss is in his 9th year of teaching and third year at C.H. Yoe High School. Before Coming to C.H. Yoe, he taught in Rivercrest ISD, Mineola ISD, Longview ISD and Winona ISD. Mr. Moss received his Beachelors of Music Education from Henderson State University in 2000. He has served as a clinician and adjudicator for marching bands in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. In 2006 Mr. Moss presented a clinic on effective drum majoring at the Arkansas Bandmasters Association in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Moss was nominated for the 2001 Disney American Teacher Award while teaching in Rivercrest ISD. He has also been nominated for Who’s Who Among Young American Professionals and Who’s Who Among American Teachers. Mr. Moss was awarded Teacher of the Year while in Winona ISD in 2007. Bands under Mr. Moss’ direction have consistently earned the coveted UIL sweepstakes award. While in Rivercrest ISD the band earned its first division I rating and advanced to Area Marching Contest for the first time in the seventy-two year history of the school. While in Winona the band participated in the Area Marching contest for the first time as well. Mr. Moss is the creator and director of the Steven Moss Academy which is held on the campuses of Ouachita Baptist University and the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He spends the majority of his summers giving marching and leadership workshops to student leaders. | Craig George is the Assistant Band Director for C.H. Yoe High School and the Head Junior High Band Director for Cameron Junior High School. Currently in his third year at Cameron ISD, Mr. George is responsible for the percussion students from sixth grade through twelfth grade. Mr. George received his Undergraduate Degree in Music Education from Miami University (OH) and his Master’s in Music Performance Degree from the University of Hawaii. He has taught at the 6th grade – Collegiate level for the past seven years and has also performed with many different ensembles. cgeorge@cameronisd.net | |

Danielle Roberts graduated from Ennis
High School in 2002. During high school, she was drum major of the
band and participated in All-Region, State Solo & Ensemble, and the
Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Wind Ensemble. She attended Baylor
University for two years before transferring to Abilene Christian
University. At both universities, she was involved in the marching
band and concert band. She graduated in May 2006 and was married
shortly after on July 1, 2006. Her husband, Gary, and her then moved to
American Samoa where they taught at Pacific Horizons School. Gary and
her returned to Texas during the summer of 2009, at which time she was
hired as an employer of Cameron ISD. She has been teaching band for
four years and has taught elementary for two years. Mrs. Roberts
also taught private lessons for four years.
